Membership at CSC entitales you to the use of all club facilities and allows you to particiate in all activities.
Membership fees are as follows:
One Month: $10

CSC charges a usage fee for each game played.

Tournament: $10 ($5 for Sunday's $25 tournament, or unless otherwise posted.)

It is girl's night out at CSC! Our women's tournament, held each month, is very popular!
The CSC will be ading a $40 Charles Penzone gift certificate to first place

CSC Championship
September through February

Winners from all of the daily tournaments during the month will win a seat into the monthly Championship Game qualifier, which will be held on the first Monday of the following month. Winners of each monthly game and winners of any special event held during the same six month period will win a seat into the bi-annual “CSC Championship” game.
September through February prize (based on money collected and tournament availability):
• Entry into the Puerto Plata poker Championship in the Dominican Republic and travel expense (entry is $1250 and travel expense $3650)
Or
• Entry into the Foxwoods Poker Classic and travel expense (entry is $2325 and travel expense $2575)
The club will withhold a small percentage from the qualifying prize pools listed below, which will be paid out to the winner of each “CSC Championship”.
• $15 will be withheld from any prize pool between $300 and $500
• $20 will be withheld from any prize pool between $501 and $600
• $25 will be withheld from any prize pool between $601 and $700
• $30 will be withheld from any prize pool over $701
If multiple daily tournaments are won during the same month, an additional $1000 in tournament chips will be awarded for the monthly tournament, for each additional win during the same month.
If multiple monthly tournaments are won during the same bi-annual period, an additional $2500 tournament chips will be awarded for the “CSC Championship” game, for each additional win during the same bi-annual period.
The monthly tournament will be the CSC standard blind structure, $5000 tournament chips and 20 minute blinds.
The “CSC Championship” game will be the CSC standard blind structure, $10,000 tournament chips and 30 minute blinds.
*CSC Championship Prize will not exceed $4900. Any additional money collected will be paid out to additional places at the championship game.
**CSC Championship prize will be based on total money collected, with all money being paid out.
1. Columbus Sports Club will run twelve preliminary sessions and a championship on the dates listed below, on the calendar posted in the club, and on our website: www.columbussportsclub.com.
2. The entry fee for the preliminary tournaments will be: League #1 - $60+$10. $50 of the $60 will be live money and played for that night. $10 will be held out to go towards the League Championship.
All money collected with the exception of the club usage fee will be returned 100%. The League Championship tournament will be a freeroll for those invited.
3. All players will start with 15,000 chips for League #1 and 7500 chips for League #2 in the preliminary tournaments. There will be no bonus chips awarded for arriving on time. If you do not show up or call the club to enter the tournament before the first orbit at “Table 1” has been completed, you cannot play in the league tournament that evening. Payouts for the preliminary tournaments will be paid out according to Columbus Sports Club’s standard payout chart.
4. All players that participate in the preliminary tournaments will earn points towards the League Championship. Points are earned by place of finishing in the tournament. Should two or more players go out in the same hand at the same table, or within one minute of each other at separate tables, their finishing order will be determined by whoever had the larger stack at that time. The floor person that is tracking the knockout order will keep a clock when there are multiple tables to track the exact finishing order. As always, the floorpersons’ decision is final.
5. The League Championship will involve the top 20 players in points at the end of the twelve preliminary events. Should a player that is in the top 20 not be able to participate, then the next person on the list will be asked to participate in their place. Players in the Championship tournament will start with 15,000 chips and also receive a 5,000 chip bonus for winning a preliminary event. The League Championship payout will be posted before the tournament starts.
6. All other rules of the league are covered by the standard club rules. Management of Columbus Sports Club reserves to right to modify, add, reschedule, or cancel any tournaments at the discretion of the club. Any questions, feel free to contact the club.
