  1. The Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot shall apply to the cash game of Texas Holdem only. To qualify for the Bad Beat, a hand of Aces Full of Jacks or better must lose to a higher-ranking hand in accordance to traditional poker hand rankings.
  2. No community card can be ran more than one time in order for the Bad Beat to be paid out.
  3. Both the winning and losing players must use both of their hole cards to create the highest possible hand.
  4. $1.00 will be removed from each pot that totals $50.00 or more. In order for a hand to be eligible for the Bad Beat Payout, the pot must meet a $10.00 minimum. The hand must go to a showdown (played to the end where all cards have been dealt and players have completed betting and shown their cards to determine the winner) in order for the jackpot to be awarded.
  5. At least 5 players must be dealt a hand to qualify.
  6. The minimun holdem cash games where a jackpot can hit are $1-$2 No-Limit or $3-$6 Limit
  7. For each $1.00 collected, 70% will be added to the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot on a daily basis and 30% will be held in reserve to replenish on a daily basis the reset Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot.
  8. Only best and second best poker hands qualify.
  9. Players must play their hands independently. If any player, whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand, passes information or instructs another on how to act or reveals their hand to other players, the Jackpot will be disqualified.
  10. Payouts of the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot are as follows:
    1. 65% of the jackpot will be awarded to the Bad Beat hand (losing player)
    2. 25% of the jackpot will be awarded to the winner of the hand
    3. 10% of the jackpot will be awarded to the remaining players
  11. In the rare occurrence of a Bad Beat Jackpot being hit on more than one holdem game at the same time, the total jackpot will be divided by the number of Bad Beat winning games then the jackpot will be distributed on each game according to the percentages set forth in the rule above.
  12. Players are eligible to win the posted Jackpot amount. Such amount will be updated once every gaming day.
  13. Any player dealt a hand at a table where the Bad beat Jackpot is won will receive $10.00
  14. Any dispute or situation not covered by the official rules will be resolved by Columbus Sports Club management in a manner deemed to be the fairest to all concerned and that decision shall be final and binding on all participants. In addition, Columbus Sports Club reserves the right to void any entry, and/or to change, cancel, or modify these rules at any time.
