1. Columbus Sports Club (The Club) is owned; and all its activities are managed by COLUMBUS SPORTS CLUB, LLC , a Limited Liability Corporation registered in Ohio. The Club is an active social/ sports club and relies on your judgment as a member to make sure that you (and any guest(s) you may wish to bring to Columbus Sports Club events) are fit enough and have the necessary skills to take part in any of our activities.
2. The objective of The Club is to provide entertainment and social activities between the members and to establish networking program between members.
3. The general management of the affairs of The Club in all matters shall be under the entire control of, and be conducted by Columbus Sports Club (the Corporation) or its representatives or agents. The Corporation shall be responsible for providing the necessary facilities to The Club.
4. Every member of The Club shall, subject to these rules be entitled to all the privileges of membership and shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules.
5. Every member shall be at least twenty one (21) years of age.
6. Registration for membership must be made on the application forms provided for that purpose by “The Club”. Written applications must be signed by the candidate and submitted to “The Club” together with payment of the required fee(s). The appropriate Monthly subscription shall be paid by the applicant at acceptance of their application for membership and at each anniversary date.
7. Columbus Sports Club reserves the right to reject members' if they are deemed unsuitable.
8. Membership shall only be granted upon receipt of the membership fee. No applications will be accepted unless payment accompanies the application form.
9. The acceptance of members shall be at the sole discretion of the “Club” and in the event of an application for membership being refused, “The Club” shall notify the applicant of its decision within fourteen days and will refund to the applicant the membership fee.
10. Applications must include an acceptance that the applicant has read and understood the Rules & Terms and Conditions of The Club. Applicants who submit an application accompanied by the full membership fee and whose application is subsequently refused will be refunded the full amount of membership paid.
11. Your membership fee does not cover expenses incurred by you at events such as tournaments or other events.
12. Columbus Sports Club is under no obligation to make refunds to any member or their guest(s) for payments made by them for membership or for events for which they fail to attend an event for whatever reason.
13. Columbus Sports Club reserves the right to cancel or rearrange events. In the unlikely event of this happening, full refunds will be made to those members and their guests who have already paid.
14. Guests who attend Columbus Sports Club’s events are required to abide by the rules set out in these Membership Rules, Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility as a member to ensure that any guest(s) you bring are aware of these rules.
15. By joining Columbus Sports Club you agree to participate in any publicity about the club and its events.
16. Columbus Sports Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any harm or injury caused to members, their guest(s), their property or anyone else, or their property, as a result of alcoholic intoxication or the taking of illegal substances at any of Columbus Sports Club events.
17. The contract for any outside activity is between the member and the outside activity provider and you hereby indemnify The Club and its agents against any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses including legal fees and expenses relating to or arising out of your participation in The Club events and activities.
18. The annual and other subscriptions payable by the members of The Club shall be such amount as the Proprietor may from time to time prescribe. Subscription fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Refunds are at the discretion of the Corporation.
19. Event fees for all organized events must be paid in full at time of that event unless otherwise stated. Refunds for non-attendance will be at the discretion of the Proprietor.. Membership shall expire on the anniversary of the last day of the calendar month in which the member joined The Club and the annual subscription shall be due on the said anniversary and on each subsequent anniversary thereafter subject to receiving a renewal notice from “The Club”.
20. The annual subscription entitles the member to all membership benefits offered by The Club.
21. Former members who have been expelled, members who are under suspension or persons whose application for membership has been rejected shall not be admitted to activities. The Corporation reserves the right of admission.

22. The Proprietor may suspend or expel from membership any member whose conduct is such that in the opinion of the Proprietor it might be injurious to the character or interests of The Club or may render the member unfit to associate with other members of The Club.
23. You the member represent, warrant, covenant and agree that you will abide by all of the terms and conditions of this agreement and you will use the service provided by The Club in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will defend, Indemnify and hold harmless The Club and its agents, Proprietor and all other members against any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees and expenses) relating to or arising out of your use of the service provided by The Club or this agreement.
24. Columbus Sports Club reserves the right to cancel the membership of any member who, in its judgment, is deemed to be acting in a manner which is causing distress to other members or is detrimental to the business.
25. Privacy Statement: A register of members shall be kept containing the names and addresses of all the members. Information contained in the register will be used for the purpose of communicating with the members and advising them of activity and event details concerning Columbus Sports Club.
26. Any member whose membership has been terminated pursuant to the provisions of these rules shall forfeit all the privileges of membership without claim for any refund of subscription or any damages for loss or compensation.
27. The Proprietor may from time to time revoke, vary, add or alter the rules of The Club, and shall be the sole authority for interpreting the rules and for settling all disputes relating to the affairs of The Club and conduct of the members or their guests.
28. Notices required by these rules to be given to members may be given by a formal letter addressed to the member at the last address which they furnished to the Proprietor or by email.
29. Columbus Sports Club does not vet members or their guests and as such no warranty or representation of any kind can be made or given in respect of them. Columbus Sports Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of any member or their guest(s). The Proprietor shall not be liable for any loss (including consequential loss) damage costs or expenses howsoever arising (whether caused by the negligent act of the Proprietor or otherwise) suffered by any member or guest arising out of or in connection with any of the activities of The Club or the actions of any fellow member.
30. The Club and its agents accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, loss or damage to person or property as a result of participation in any of The Club activities. Members must pay the fees for the particular event or activity to the Proprietor and sign disclaimer forms before participation in any activity where required. All Columbus Sports Club activities which you or your guest(s) take part in are done at your own risk and Columbus Sports Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of such activities or your participation in them.
31. Columbus Sports Club is under no obligation to make insurance arrangements for members or their guest(s) in respect to any of our activities you take part in.
32. Alcohol is not permitted inside “The Club”. Anyone found to have brought Alcohol onto the premises shall be asked to leave and will have forfeited all membership rights. Such person, if participating in an event, shall also forfeit usage fee paid for that day. If such person is participating in a paid tournament organized by members, such person will also have forfeited their entire entry into such event. If found to posse’s alcohol a second time, membership will be cancelled and forfeiture of all fees paid will occur.
